Product & Usage
How do I use the hair mask? Blend an amount suited to your hair length and density with water to create a smooth, silky paste. For enhanced application and best results, mix with leave-in conditioner, aloe vera gel, and/or other hydrating ingredients. Apply to dry hair from root to tip, cover with a shower cap and leave on for 30 minutes up to several hours, then rinse thoroughly.
How often should I use it? For best results, use 1–2 times per week. Consistency over time is key to seeing visible improvements.
Can I mix it with oils or other ingredients? Yes. I encourage mixing supporting ingredients to enhance the consistency, slip, hydration and overall experience. Oils such as coconut and castor oil, or hydrating ingredients like aloe vera gel and leave-in conditioner.
Can I use this after a hair transplant? It’s always best to consult with your medical provider and wait until your scalp has fully healed before introducing any new products. I began applying hair masks three months after my hair transplant.
Will it stain my hair or change my color? The formula was intentionally created without henna and is designed to enhance the natural look and feel of your hair without altering its color. However, because the blend is made from natural botanicals, those with lighter hair tones may notice a subtle shift in tone. I recommend performing a small patch test before full application.
Is it safe for sensitive scalps? The ingredients are plant-based and traditionally used in gentle hair care practices. However, if you have a sensitive scalp, a patch test is recommended before full application.
What does the fragrance smell like? Our botanical blend has a naturally earthy aroma with hints and notes of warm clove, rosemary, rich spices and traditional Ayurvedic herbs. Because the formula is made from pure plant powders without added synthetic fragrance, the scent is bold, authentic, and deeply herbal. Similar to the natural aroma of dried spices, herbal teas and traditional botanical blends. Some may even find it reminiscent of an herbal apothecary or spice market. Once mixed into a hair mask, the fragrance softens while still reflecting the raw, natural essence of the ingredients.

How long does it take to see results? Results vary from person to person. With consistent use, I began to notice improvements in my hair's strength, softness, definition, volume and overall manageability within a few weeks.

What inspired Flora & Mane? Flora & Mane was created from a personal journey. After experiencing hair loss and undergoing a hair transplant, I began exploring natural alternatives to support my hair. Through experimenting with Ayurvedic herbs and documenting my results, I discovered a ritual that transformed not only my hair, but my approach to hair care. This brand is a reflection of that experience.
